Uncharted 3 FREE Competitive Multiplayer From Subway Starts Tomorrow

When the news hit at this years E3 Sony Press Conference, I nearly had to change my pants when the bigs news came that Naughty Dog were partnering with Sony (Big Surprise, right!?) and Subway to give away the Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception Competitive Multiplayer FOR FREE! That's right! Well, that moment have finally come in which beginning tomorrow (some Subway restaurants have already begun) you can go to your local Subway and with the purchase of a 32oz drink (the cup with Nathan Drake on it) and get a code to download the free online multiplayer a month early. Naughty Dog could place enough emphasis on the words Free and competitive multiplayer. ITS TOTALLY FREE FROM NAUGHTY DOG AND SONY TO YOU.

There are, however, two things to keep in mind here. The first is that you need to actually go to http://adventure.subway.com/ and enter the code that is on your cup. You will then be emailed a code that you will enter in your REDEEM CODE section of the PlayStation Store. If you don't see the code in your inbox, be sure to check your 'Junk Mail' as well.

The second thing to keep in mind is that this promotion is NOT giving you access to a Beta or a Demo. This IS the real deal. However, its important to keep in mind that Naughty Dog was very specific with their announcement in that you're ONLY getting the COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER which is great! But, don't be expecting to get the Co-op. Naughty Dog wouldn't want to spoil the story for you. The Cooperative Multiplayer will still only be accessible in the final version of Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception exclusively on the PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System releasing on 01 November 2011. All of the cash, XP and medals and such will transfer over to your game save when the games launches on 01 November. So go and get it! Its their the taking, but on if you want it which we suggest you do.

UPDATE: It appears that the promotion according to http://blog.us.playstation.com that the promotion is only running through the month of October. Then its up to gamers to purchase Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception (why would you not too) retail copy to continue the experience. All of your stats, money, XP, weapons and skins will all transfer over to the final version. So don't delete that game save come October.
