The Console Wars

NEW LOOK! NEW STYLE! NEW FORMAT! NEW TERMINOLOGY! What once was 'What Do the Charts Say,' has become 'THE CONSOLE WARS!' and its hard to believe its this time already! Time just seems to really fly! But, we'll get right into it!

The PlayStation 3 once again dominates the console wars this week and gamers continue to roll out the red carpet for the Nintendo 3DS. Its extremely likely we'll begin to see a decline in 3DS Lite sales and its rumored and probably a fact by now that the DS Lite is being discontinued through GameStop. Generally, if GameStop doesn't carry it, then everyone else will follow suit. GameStop seems to be the trendsetter. Back to the console side, the PlayStation 3 again takes the lead but the Xbox 360 has rolled into second. Its all beginning to make sense now why Nintendo is already set to announce the Wii 2 and its likely sales have slowed as those who are on the inside are aware of the possible announcing of the Wii 2 most likely at this years Nintendo E3 Press Conference. Nintendo is not only wanting to take back the hardcore gaming audience but apparently they want to take E3 as well. Here are the numbers for the week:
