NeXbox Coming Late 2013 (Xbox 360)

360

While many of us thought that next generation consoles would hit the market until 2014, we were almost one-hundred percent accurate. But, it seems that we may have been off by about two months in our speculations. While is still pretty much speculation, we're about ninety-five percent sure that Microsoft's NeXbox is going to hit the market then.

According to sources, Microsoft's rumored Xbox 720 console, which a few months ago Microsoft listed a job posting since the departure of Robbie Bach. Robbie Bach was there alongside now EA Sports CEO Peter Moore during the launch of the Xbox 360. Robbie Bach and J. Allard not long ago left Microsoft pretty much at the same time. So, with all the information that has been circulating with information on hiring new console engineers that can hopefully get Microsoft a more solid console pieced together, its rumored that the Xbox 720 will release just shy of 2014 likely to hit before the 2013 holiday season to maximize Microsoft's fourth-quarter sales as well as retailers.

There are still no detail's as to the specifications of the new Xbox console but we do know that Microsoft will be carefully watching Nintendo over the next couple of months. We will likely see the integration of Kinect usage in the new Microsoft console but, it is unlikely that we will see the usage of Blu-ray as Microsoft will likely work with Toshiba in developing a proprietary high storage capacity disc for their games and continue forward with streaming capabilities like Netflix and continue to push the digital video format with a Zune-type program. We know Microsoft and Sony work together as corporations with Sony Vaio and Windows but, really when was the last time you saw Microsoft demoing an Xbox 360 on a Sony Bravia? No, in the gaming industry this is war.

So there you have it. Xbox 720 likely to hit in November 2013 after the Nintendo WiiU and with no word on what Sony has in store for the PlayStation 4 or if they're really even heavily considering it. However, we can expect to see more at E3 2012 or 2013 with Epic Games Tim Sweeny, Mike Capps and Cliff Bleszinski on stage with Microsoft to show off Microsoft's new console with a demo of Unreal Engine 4 and Epic Games further solidifying their relationship with Microsoft. I mean really, why hasn't Microsoft purchased Epic Games yet?
