The Console Wars

It would seem the PSN outage hasn't been slowing down PlayStation 3 sales. Could blu-ray and 3D blu-ray sales be pushing the PS3 along? Even the spoken of trade ins of impatient Call of Duty: Black Ops gamers in Europe that have been trading up their PS3's for Xbox 360's to get two or three days of online gaming and we wonder what they could be thinking now that PSN is back up. Of course in handhelds, the DS still has claim at the top but its competition isn't too far behind. Meanwhile, sales of the Wii are still pretty good but are on the decline, perhaps as gamers are preparing for Nintendo's next gaming console. The Wii may not receive the attention if needs at Nintendo's E3 and may be flushed out by Project Cafe and the 3DS.
