We are actually probably as surprised as you might be. Yes, the PlayStation Network has been in a bit of a slump with negative press spraying all over them in the past few weeks. Last week they'd lost their footing missing out on two-thousand units all going to Microsoft putting the Xbox 360 ahead last week. This week, Sony have made great strides to restore what was lost both in terms of online service and possible, still unidentified identity theft with no reported cases yet. While PlayStation Network remains to be down, Sony's sales however aren't, in terms of sales compared to the other consoles this week. The PlayStation 3 through all the hum-drum have worked their way back to the top once again. Meanwhile, the 3DS has lost its footing having been beaten out by its predecessor uh, yet again. Nintendo certainly aren't happy with the sales of the 3DS but, we're still waiting for improved software. Street Fighter IV can only last so long. But the DS remains atop with impressive numbers. Still, the PlayStation 3 has outsold them all. Finally, we're not sure what happened with the PSP but, it has more than doubled and about tripled in sales in the last week. Why? We really don't know. Here are the Console Wars for this week.
PlayStation 3 166,245
Xbox 360 141,982
Wii 119,427
PSP 142,950
DS 137,114
3DS 128,157
