Well, if history repeats itself, gamers have something pretty awesome to look forward to next week, assuming of course. This week at Kmart, the store everyone stops by when Walmart has run out of stock or GameSpot has been run dry, is believe it not providing you with the better deal. While its competition offers the games for $59.98 at launch, sometimes on a 2-4 cent difference, Kmart offers you something with what they call their Rewards Card Program. Its a program that gives their gamers back for shopping at their store. On some games, usually the bigger sellers, promotions are offered. For example, Dragon Age II released this week, and those who purchased it from Kmart, were given 10,000 points ($10). Some games have even gone so far as to give you 25,000 points ($25). You can then use these points on other game purchases or other things in the store.
I had purchased Marvel vs Capcom 3 and was given 25,000 points, and then turned around and used those points for Bulletstorm and was given 15,000 points that I used for Killzone 3 and was given points for Killzone 3 that continued to roll on and on and on. But, a pattern also seems to happen that you obtain points the first week and the second week, they go on sale. If that's the case, then you can expect to find Dragon Age II for $49.99 next week all week on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, if you haven't already picked it up. So you may want to jump on that and, from one gamer to another, you may want to consider stopping in here first to pick up your games and save up to $15 on another game rather than saving two pennies to four.
